A Custom Crest Gate for Battle Ground Academy in Franklin
How we turned a school crest that dates back to 1889 into hand forged wrought iron and CNC cut steel for one of Franklin's most historic entrances.
Battle Ground Academy has been part of Franklin since 1889, so when the school needed a new entrance gate, it couldn't look like something off a rack. It needed presence. The brief was simple: honor the crest, match the campus, and build it to last another century.
We started the way we start every custom gate, with careful measurements and a CAD drawing. The school's crest was digitized line by line, then CNC cut in steel so every letter and detail came out crisp. The surrounding gate was fabricated in our Franklin shop with hand forged scrollwork, then primed, powder coated and installed on site by our own crew.
